About C. Booker Photography
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
I currently live in the Dayton, Ohio area and was born in Indianapolis, Indiana.
I have been interested in Photography since high school, where I learned how to develop 35mm black and white film. I like to consider myself a digital photo enthusiast. My favorite type of photography currently is Nature Photography. But I also enjoy shooting landscapes, sports, macro and car photography. My camera system of choice is Olympus mirrorless cameras. I have been shooting with various types of Olympus cameras since 2001.
The above photo was one of my very first bird nature photos taken in 2014 with a manual focus lens. Shot with a Soligor 300mm f4 lens adapted to an Olympus Pen camera. Shooting with a manual focus lens is a fun but difficult challenge. And one that every photographer should try at least once.
